UPCOMING EVENTS:
January 14 & 15, 2012: The Action Pool Tour returns to VIP!!! This is 9-Ball competition at its very finest. THE best players will all be here for this event, and so should you. If you're not a tournament level player it is still well worth your time to see pool played at this level. If you are a tournament player we'd love to see you test your skills at this event. The APT is rapidly growing its reputation as a finely run and expertly organized tour, come on out and see what it is all about.
(and we always leave tables available for our regular customers during this, and any other event)
March 3-5, 2012: Tom Simpson of the National Billiard Academy will be holding his highly acclaimed "Beat People With A Stick" 3-day Intensive Seminar here at VIP! Players of all levels, from beginners to pros WILL take valuable skills away from this event.
We sincerely apologize to all of the customers that tried to become involved with BCA Leagues here at VIP. We have had absolutely the worst luck in trying to get these teams off the ground - and just after getting everyone interested in joining, our "league operator" just up and disappeared! The BCA is looking worse and worse every time we turn around. After the holidays we will reconsider our options and hopefully will get something running early 2012.
Good news, good news...VIP Billiards is the only pool hall around with not one - but TWO LADIES' NIGHTS!!!! Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 PM until Midnight, ladies shoot for 1/2 price!
Bring your girlfriends, bring your wives - ladies bring your friends and play all the pool you want for 1/2 price!
Things are finally starting to look up around here. Customers are finding their way back to VIP, and we have many new customers that are filtering in from all of the other local pool halls that have gone out of business. This is not a good business to be in during this terrible economy, but VIP isn't cutting any corners to provide our customers the best place to play billiards. As a matter of fact, the most frequent comments we hear from new customers is how clean VIP is and how our tables are in such good condition. Alcohol free, smoke free, drama free - VIP strives to remain relaxing, clean, fun, and safe for all ages and the whole family. UPDATED 2/26/2011 We are now even harder to find!
Not only did the Pizza Hut that we used as a landmark for many years go out of business, but the landlord also removed all of our signs! I guess the new location of Baltimore Martial Arts was more important? So currently we do not have the benefit of any visibility from Rt. 40, which is killing us. We're still back here, though - behind Midas and Baltimore Martial Arts. We are also looking for anyone who can give us a good price on some new signs.

that not only is VIP one of the last remaining pool and billiard halls in Maryland, but we are one of the very few that does not allow alcohol! So if you love to play pool but don't like going to bars to get your game on you are more than welcome here.
